Hi, I’m Angelina.

I’m an artist and illustrator based in Seattle. I make bright, slightly wonky things with imperfect lines, too many colors, and whatever materials I happen to be obsessed with that week.

My work moves somewhere between illustration and painting. I work with acrylic, gouache, pencils, pastels, printmaking, digital tools — and usually some combination I wasn’t planning to use when I started.

I’m especially interested in people and places. A lot of my personal work is about Seattle: buildings I pass all the time, views I don’t want to forget, grey days that somehow end up very colorful in my paintings. The rest tends to be about people — their relationships, feelings, small everyday moments, and all the stuff going on underneath the surface.

Most days you’ll find me making things at Studio 307 in Pioneer Square, in the old ’57 Biscayne building. What started as simply a place to paint has slowly become something else too: a place for open studios, drawing nights, workshops, and people gathering around a table to make things together.

That’s also where I run Draw It! Art Club — a free drawing club built around experimenting, playing, meeting people, and making something without worrying too much about whether it’s “good.” No special skills required. Wonky drawings are highly encouraged.
