Mental health (social media)

A Valentine's Day illustration series about the kind of love that actually takes work — sharing fears, setting boundaries, apologizing and meaning it, resting without guilt. Eight illustrations built around a single repeating phrase, each one exploring a different aspect of honest, caring relationships.

The looseness of the lines makes the figures feel vulnerable, which matches exactly what the text is asking people to do — be vulnerable with each other.

The simplicity of the figures also makes them universal. They don't have a gender, age, or specific appearance, so anyone can see themselves in them.

And the single red accent — used only for the key word in each phrase and the heart — creates a quiet visual rhythm across the series. It tells you where to look without being loud about it.

This Valentine's, you deserve love that feels like this
I want us to share our fears and feel safe togetherI want us to support each other's growth, not fix each other's strugglesI want us to heal together, not hide our woundsI want us to celebrate small wins togetherI want us to apologize when we are wrong and mean itI want us to respect each other's boundariesI want us to communicate, even when it's uncomfortableI want us to rest together without guilt
